Joan Brossa (Barcelona, 1919-1998) was a cultural libertarian and editor of the everyday. His work consists largely of visual poems and object poems. This book presents a possible journey through the world that surrounds us with a selection of words and objects, brilliantly using de-contextualisation and humour to teach us to observe the ordinary from new and changeable perspectives.

As part of our commitment to dissemination, we present this selection of Brossa’s works, sharing the poet’s own desire to remain within everyone’s reach.
