This lamp-object finds its place just as naturally on a table as on the floor. It is made up of a subtle cherry wood structure that protects the opaline globe, which softly diffuses the light. Crafted by European artisans, it is produced using traditional steam-bending techniques, with each curve carefully polished and firmly assembled by hand.
Cesta (Spanish for basket) is one of Miguel Milá’s most laudable designs, inspired by the classic lanterns commonly found along Mediterranean coastal homes, country estates, and open-air terraces. And despite its distinctive character—or perhaps because of it—its form and function remain just as relevant today.
