Federico Correa used to say that it was not necessary to know how to draw to be an architect, although he admitted that he was good at it. A master of color pencils, he had an astonishing ability to project in conical perspective the project he imagined, thus giving form and color to his interpretation of the architectural heritage of the Modern Movement.

In perfect complementarity with his inseparable friend and partner Alfonso Milá, they worked for Barcelona’s bourgeoisie. For them they designed homes; factories, shops, and workspaces; social areas and summer houses. This exhibition is a visual journey through these imagined, drawn, and projected spaces in which color, in the right proportion in each case, is the star of the show.
