Casa Ter
Maija, M64, Moragas and Cesta Metálica in Mesura's Casa Ter, a km0 house in Baix Empordà where three landscapes meet.
Baix Empordà is where coastline, mountains and agricultural fields converge. Mesura designed Casa Ter to face all three, with materials from zero kilometers: stone from the Ter river, ceramics from La Bisbal.
Two volumes in an L-shape enclose a central patio. The porch between them opens toward each landscape in turn. Discreetly arranged, two M64 pendants light this outdoor transit and dining area. To the side, the living room, where Moragas’s wood meets the steel of Cesta Metálica. In the kitchen, Maija: a gleaming honeycomb.
