Sísísí Cónicas Planas

The flat conical shape of the MT4 and MT5 shades features a familiar, archetypal silhouette. Its volume could feel bold, yet it remains visually light thanks to its balanced relationship with space. Designed by Gabriel Ordeig in 1987 as a tribute to parchment and its warm translucence, this shade is available in just two finishes: stitched beige or smooth white. An invitation to enjoy the art of long table conversations.

The SíSíSí pendant shades take their name from the iconic Barcelona night bar of the 1980s. At a time when international taste was captivated by metallic tube lamps with cool halogen bulbs, Gabriel Ordeig Cole, co-founder of Santa & Cole, sought to defend warmth—an aesthetic that embraced a more artisanal and human-centered modernity.

Although the commission for the Sísísí bar gave rise only to the long conical shades—crafted exclusively in parchment—that early gesture became the seed of a philosophy that, over time, materialized into an extensive matrix, a woven network of pieces in constant dialogue. Full of possibilities, Sistema Matricial continues to speak a consistent formal language shaped by warmth, proportion, and craft.

Sistema Matricial

Sistema Matricial brings together a diverse constellation of lamps —in all shapes, scales, and categories— united by a shared vision: to uphold warmth, embrace craftsmanship as a form of modernity, and use humble materials to create refined lamps with a striking visual impact.
