Sistema Fonda

With segments of one or three shades and three types of connectors—straight joints for linear runs, elbows for 90-degree angles, and end caps to close the composition—this system is built on tubular frameworks that support a variety of shade types: small and medium-sized, whether ribboned, in parchment, or white linen, all held in place by small dowels made of natural beechwood.

Sistema Fonda delivers generous, even illumination with a distinctly modern presence, resolving a classic theme: suspended structures that light a space through the repetition of multiple points of light. A refined exercise in synthesis that brings great freedom to interior design.

In the early 1990s, Gabriel Ordeig Cole—artist, designer, and co-founder of Santa & Cole—was commissioned to illuminate a large restaurant: Fonda Europa in Granollers (Barcelona). The goal was to achieve a uniform, pleasant light that would warmly support conversation around the table. This was the solution ultimately applied.

Sistema Matricial

Sistema Matricial brings together a diverse constellation of lamps —in all shapes, scales, and categories— united by a shared vision: to uphold warmth, embrace craftsmanship as a form of modernity, and use humble materials to create refined lamps with a striking visual impact.
