Antoni de Moragas Gallissà designed this lamp for his own office at the age of forty-four. A rationalist architect and key figure in Spain’s postwar architectural renewal, he also served as the founding president of the FAD Industrial Design Association. It’s said that Moragas often used the lamp to hold notes and newly received business cards, tucking them between the ribbon folds.
