Cestita

Cestita—Spanish for “small basket”—is the younger sibling of Cesta, inspired by the traditional Mediterranean lanterns and one of the most iconic designs by Miguel Milá. With a slimmer cherry wood structure that’s always carefully polished and firmly assembled, this lamp-object houses its light source inside either an opal glass globe or a white plastic version—the latter offering greater resistance to life’s everyday bumps and knocks, or as we like to call it, the child-friendly edition.

Cesta

Walking through Barcelona in the 1960s, designer Miguel Milá came across an opaline globe left outside a glass factory. He decided to take it in, and over time, it became the centerpiece of a large and growing family.
