Jara Varela and Marc Morro spend a weekend in the Ebro Delta, capturing Santa & Cole’s battery-powered lamps in a house with only one outlet.
In the Ebro Delta, among olive trees, wind, and silence, we spent a weekend suspended in time. A house without electricity—no distractions, no frills, just a single solar-powered outlet—became the perfect setting to let the light speak for itself.
There, the sensitve gaze of Marc Morro and Jara Varela encountered our battery lamps in their rawest context. An austere, almost bare environment reveals the true essence of what stands before you. Amid long dinners, flowing conversations, and soft awakenings, Santa & Cole’s lamps fulfilled their purpose: to illuminate without imposing, to accompany without interfering.
This is a tribute to beauty born of utility—because the best light is the one that simply appears where it’s needed most.

All our portable lamps are based on designs conceived decades ago, at a time when going cordless wasn’t even a possibility. Today, technology allows them to move freely without altering their essence and even bringing them closer to the original purpose for which they were created.
Within the collection, we find different archetypes of light: the globe that envelops, the lantern that guides, the classic lamp that welcomes, the articulated arm that directs, or the filtered light that suggests more than it shows. These are essential forms, born from a specific need and now adapted to a more flexible context.
They don’t seek attention — they’re simply present, exactly where they’re needed.
