Fernando Álvarez Prozorovich (1952-2020): an Argentinian architect, he received his doctorate at the UPC, and taught there and at ETSAB. His focus was architectural theory, the history of modern architecture and architectural heritage. He was a driving force in the discovery of Catalans in exile, like Antoni Bonet Castellana. And, together with Jordi Roig Navarro, also a professional architect and teacher at ETSAB, curated the anthological exhibition "Antoni Bonet Castellana 1913-1989" in 1996, which ran in different locations until 1999. And it was in 1999 that the 3rd BIAU Publications Award for best publication (ex aequo) went to this book, which they co-authored and is published by Santa & Cole, Ediciones UPC and CED.
