Santa & Cole presents the work of Antoni Arola at the Karimoku Research Center in Tokyo. This exhibition explores the many ways in which the Spanish designer\u2019s practice engages in a dialogue with light, offering distinct perspectives through immersive installation, product design, and the creative process. Antoni Arola\u2019s practice is rooted in intuition, observation, chance, and a playful dialogue with matter. His works \u2014 whether luminaires or light installations \u2014 do not begin with a defined function or fixed form, but emerge through subtle discoveries, unexpected connections, and the gradual search to understand and shape light. Spread across three floors of the Karimoku Research Center, the exhibition traces a continuous dialogue between Antoni Arola and light. It begins with a poetic, sensory immersion, continues with the presentation of his lamps edited by Santa & Cole and the architectural modelling of light in space, and culminates in an open-ended glimpse into the creative universe of his studio.
