The Sagrada Familia Library, the work of the architecture studio Ruisánchez Arquitectes, arose from the refurbishment of an existing building within a group of public facilities (market, civic centre and car park). Its inauguration, in 2007, defined a new concept of library intended for the dissemination of information, knowledge and leisure. The interior space is organized starting from a central patio which connects the four floors and which gives them natural light. The Marcel armchairs and poufs, designed by Kazuhide Takahama and published by Santa & Cole, play a fundamental role inside the library, organize the reading spaces and invite you to relax.
