An invitation to stay put
The Ibiza lounge chair was designed to furnish the summer house of Germán Rodriguez Arias, architect and rationalism master, who was chosen by writer Pablo Neruda for the remodelling of his home in Isla Negra. Rodriguez Arias was a founder of GATCPAC, and consequently a partner of Torres Clavé, Sert, Illescas and other instigators of the Modern Movement in Spain. The lounge chair design features a single piece of steel tubing that affords a generous seat and deep backrest, conducive to great conversation. This extremely comfortable chair will incorporate the perfect pop of colour to any space. Upholstered in high quality Gabriel fabric.

Arias went into exile in Chile, where he was appointed with the renovation of Pablo Neruda's house in Isla Negra, among other architectural and furniture design projects. In 1959, he returned to Ibiza, where he spent the last years of his life.
