The square is organized starting from four groups of pergolas designed by Antonio Ángel Guarido Escavias de Carvajal and developed by Santa & Cole. Its formal conception is a homage to the palm groves existing in the south east of the Iberian Peninsula.
In the refurbishment of the square, inaugurated in 2005, each object occupies its space and function. The daytime setting, rich in contrasts of light and shade, with well-distributed volumes and spaces, has an intimate dialogue with the night-time setting, suggestively decorated by a concept of high-fashion lighting.
