The new García Sanabria park, remodelled in 2006, is a true botanical garden which has over 200 plant species which have come from all over the world. In it, art and natural science coexist in a logical and orderly symbiosis. It is a living museum which is organized around a spiral, which makes up a route in which the different facets offered by the park are concentrated. Thus, an interior route starts from the Visitors' Centre and goes around the site, forming, around the Central Fountain, the geometry of its original design. The Área beacon, designed by Claudi Aguiló and Xavier Nogués for Santa Cole, illuminates the whole route.
The project succeeded in combining the beauty of the pre-existing elements and works of art, with the contemporary design of different elements of street furniture published by Santa & Cole.
