¡Una de OCOS! workshop in which Causas Externas and Nina Masó deconstructed the OCO in front of a group of professionals from different spheres of design.
The party to launch the OCO, the new garden lamp designed by the studio Causas Externas, was held on 15 June last.

Coinciding with the arrival of the summer and of warm evenings, Santa & Cole launched its new garden lamp in the headquarters of the agency Otrascosas de Villarrosàs in Barcelona. Both the party and the prior workshop came within the framework of the project Sobre la mesa, a table for an everyday life, which Otrascosas is leading together with the Apartamento Magazine, and which is hosting a series of workshops, actions and different types of cultural events, from “edible” acoustic concerts to doodling workshops or, in the words of its organizers, “whatever else we think of”.
And one of their ideas was the workshop ¡Una de OCOS!, in which Causas Externas, the designers of the OCO, and Nina Masó, the publisher of Santa & Cole’s Indoor division, “deconstructed” the lamp in front of a group of professionals from different spheres of design: journalists, landscape architects, interior designers, lighting distributors and industrial designers started from the OCO to discuss ecodesign, light temperature, LEDs or the reason for one shape rather than another.
As the sun set, the guests began to arrive for the party on the terrace which followed the workshop. The terrace was, of course, sprinkled with the green and amber colours of the OCO and alive with a good summer atmosphere. Over thirty OCO lamps will be displayed on the terrace of Villarrosàs until the end of July, when the Sobre la mesa project ends.
