09/05/2011
Santa & Cole is participating again in the Spanish pavilion of the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York, promoting its editions of lamps and furniture, with the intention of demonstrating the timeless quality of good Spanish design from four different generations.
The exhibits include new products from two reference figures in Spanish design,Miguel Milá (Premio Nacional de Diseño 1961 and Compasso d’Oro alla Carriera 2009) and Antoni Arola (Premio Nacional de Diseño 2003), magnificent representatives of two mature and fertile generations, with great quality of sensitive intelligence and special tenderness. But it is also presenting the wonderful talent of another two new generations, represented by Lagranja Studio (IIDA Award 2009 for the Belloch chair, S&C 2008) and also Causas Externas, a young studio from Barcelona known for its first collection, Causas Urbanas (2007), and its OCO garden lamp (S&C 2010).
Thus, from 14 to 17 May, the American public will be able to appreciate the good designs of the Barcelona publishing house’s Indoor Collection.
This year Santa & Cole is moreover participating together with Nick Schonberger, editor of Curated Magazine, in the series of talks on Spanish Design organized by Largetail and which will be held on Sunday 15th in the Theatre of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center of New York.
