The talk Cradle2Cradle: Designing Abundance presented by Ignasi Cubiñá, one of the founders of Cradle2Cradle, will inaugurate the series of new encounters planned for 2011.

Design Circle arises from a desire and a need: to provide a meeting place in Milan to discuss design and projects, and to create an atmosphere which favours interaction between professionals in order to share ideas through experiences and debates.
Through four different approaches: (1) the phenomenology of the project, (2) the training of a project designer, (3) the Person-City-Planet trilogy, and (4) the criticism of the culture of the project, the Barcelona publishing house proposes a series of nine meetings on projects and design throughout 2011 in its Milan headquarters. An open circle whose aim is to confront the challenges of today through debates without a moderator, uncorking some wine and enjoying good company: project designers, entrepreneurs, designers, architects, journalists and just enthusiasts.
Santa & Cole, thanks to the collaboration of AT CASA and the sponsorship of ADI (Italy), Milan City Council and the Association of Architects (Lombardy), will inaugurate Design Circle on the coming 23 February with the talk Cradle2Cradle: Designing Abundance. Nature as an industrial model, presented by one of the partners of Cradle2Cradle, Ignasi Cubiñá.
The following will also participate in the debate:
Prof. Carlo Proserpio, from DIS_INDACO - Politecnico di Milano. Design and Innovation for Sustainability.
Giuliana Zoppis, Journalist and co-founder of Best-UP, promoter of sustainable living.
C2C Network, Regional Agency for Sustainable Development of the Metropolitan Area.
