The wide selection of the designer’s objets trouvés can be visited from June 29th to July 29th at Otrascosas de Villarrosàs gallery
28/06/2011
Objects found or received as gifts; odd, strange and original, because of their function, their shape or where they came from; of anonymous and unpretentious design. In short, “normal” yet authentic objects which Toni Arola has been collecting since he can remember, and which are part of his life and designs. Over 300 of these objects will leave the shelves, tables, boxes and corners of the designer’s home-studio, and will be taken to the Otrascosas de Villarrosàs gallery in Barcelona. The space will then become a laboratory to classify, organize, explain and exhibit a wide selection of these objets trouvés which accompany and inspire Arola, forming his visual biography.
