Policy on water

Water is one of the most valuable and important resources for maintaining life on the planet, and SANTA & COLE therefore considers the correct use and management of water to be a basic pillar within its business policy, and acts in accordance with the following principles:

-    Water is essential for the health and well-being of society and the environment, so it should be returned to the environment in the best conditions possible.

-    Water is a finite resource, on being limited by external factors, so its use within the facilities must be optimized in the medium and long term.

-    Water is a shared resource, so it must be protected from contamination and it must not be wasted, employing efficient techniques and attitudes on using it.

-    Therefore, water use within SANTA & COLE’s facilities must be quantified in detail and known by all.

By fulfilling these principles and continuously reviewing its processes to find opportunities to improve water use and management, the company intends to be more sustainable and responsible with the Environment.
