Exploring new horizons

Santa & Cole was established in Santísima Trinidad del Monte (Barcelona) in 1985. It was initially a workshop which made prototypes of La Bella Durmiente, La Colilla or where Santiago Roqueta brought the Básica in order to form part of our catalogue. Two years later, after a lot of remodelling and a visit by Gerd Bulthaup, it became the showroom for Santa & Cole lamps and bulthaup kitchen furniture. As the company grew, with the different distribution agreements and the takeovers, Santa & Cole ‘s spaces also grew with the opening of two shops in Barcelona, and sales offices in Madrid (1997), Bilbao, Valencia and Málaga.

And not just nationally. Since 1988, Santa & Cole has been present in the markets of California, Florida, France, Holland and Germany. 2004, when it opened the first subsidiary in Italy, highlights its commitment to the international market.

In 2006, Santa & Cole signed an exclusive distribution agreement with the leading American company in outdoor furniture and landscape gardening, Landscape Forms, an opportunity to create trans-Atlantic bridges between Europe and the United States.

In 2007, 35% of its sales were exported to over 35 countries and, continuing with its internationalization plan Santa & Cole Deutschland opened its doors last July in Frankfurt and Santa & Cole France will be established during the next months.
