IIDA Award of Excellence 2009
The Belloch chair was created at the beginning of 2009, when a chair for everyday use was commissioned from the Lagranja Design studio for Santa & Cole’s headquarters in Parc de Belloch. The result has stylistic evocations of Charles and Ray Eames, and very topical environmental concerns.
The use of an innovative material, a blend of organic plastics and wood, creates slight variations in the colour and the texture. These differences are natural and do not alter the quality or the goodness of its design, and they improve its productive ecology.
Fibreglass-reinforced polypropylene seat and back finished in white color. Natural beech wood or matt anodized aluminium legs (for indoor and outdoor).
Polypropylene and wood chip composite material seat and back finished in grey or brown color. Natural beech wood legs.
Stackable.
